DNP3 SCADAPack Driver Guide - Device Type (DNP3 SCADAPack Specific Status Display Attributes)

Associated with: DNP3 SCADAPack Status Information items that are configured to retrieve System Overview, or SCADAPack ES Remote I/O information.

There are two Device Type status attributes.

The first status attribute indicates the device type number that was returned by the outstation, decoded into a text string.

Example:

Device Type SCADAPack ES Model A (IO:32/16/12/4) , Ethernet

The second status attribute indicates the raw number that was returned by the outstation.
