Disable Controls

Use the Disable Controls pick action to prevent operators from being able to send controls to a point or pulse action via the usually available pick actions. You might want to use the Disable Controls pick action, for instance, if Geo SCADA Expert has detected a known problem with the plant with which a point is associated. When used, actions such as Control and Inching are no longer available for selection on that point.

Once the detected problem has been rectified, use the Enable Controls pick action to give users access to the control pick actions once again.

The Control Disabled system color and Controls status attribute indicate when controls are disabled on a point or pulse action.
