Associated with: Direct outstations that support scanning promotion
The Scanning attribute is only displayed while Geo SCADA Expert is scanning an outstation at an increased (‘promoted’) rate (see Temporarily Increasing the Scan Rate in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Advanced Drivers). The attribute indicates the reason for the scanning promotion.
Possible states:
- Promoted by Displaying Points—Scanning promotion is due to one or more of the outstation’s points being on display on a client (workstation).
- Promoted by Control—Scanning is promoted as a result of a Control or Inching action being executed on a point or pulse action.
- Promoted by Method—Scanning promotion has been triggered by the Promote Scanning action or method.
