There are several expression editors that you can use to create and modify expressions. The editor that you will use varies according to the type of database item you are configuring. For example, the Expression window is available when creating an expression in a Mimic whereas you will need to use the Expression field during the configuration of a Historic Calculation item.
In the topics in this section, we explain how to access and use the various expression editors. For more information, see the topics that are listed in the gray footer section at the bottom of this topic. Select the relevant entry to display the topic that you require.
When you are familiar with the expression editors, you can use them to create and modify expressions. You can enter expressions manually and use the browse features to enter tags and colors.
