Use the fields within the Scaling section of the Hilscher tab to specify the range of raw input signal values for an analog point, or the scaling factor for a calculated analog value.
The Hilscher driver uses these values in calculations to convert raw input signal values into engineering values.
- Enabled—Select this check box if the input value at the Hilscher device needs to be scaled for use by Geo SCADA Expert, and vice versa for output values. Use the Raw Full Scale and Raw Zero Scale fields to define the scaling that is required. As the point source can be a floating-point number, the range of the scaling supports the full possible range of a double-precision floating-point number (+/- 1.7976931348623147e+308).
Clear the Enabled check box if scaling is not required for the point.
- Raw Full scale—Applies when Scaling is enabled. Enter the highest acceptable raw data value for the point.
- Raw Zero Scale—Applies when Scaling is enabled. Enter the lowest acceptable raw data value for the point.
