On a DeviceNet or PROFIBUS-DP system, you need to configure a Hilscher Board in the Geo SCADA Expert database for each physical Hilscher board that you want Geo SCADA Expert to scan on your system.
On a PROFIBUS-FMS system, you need to configure a Hilscher Board in the Geo SCADA Expert database for each I/O board through which Geo SCADA Expert is to scan FMS devices.
In either case, specify the properties for a board using the Hilscher Board Form.
The Form has several tabs.
Use the Board tab to Configure the Basic Board Properties.
