A Controlling Station is the SCADA master station at which telecontrol of the Controlled Station (outstations) is performed. On a Geo SCADA Expert system that is running the IEC 60870-5 driver, the Geo SCADA Expert server is the controlling station.
Throughout this guide, the controlling station is referred to as the Geo SCADA Expert server.
