In Geo SCADA Expert, each IEC 60870-5 Phoenix PSTN outstation has to be associated with an IEC 60870-5 Phoenix PSTN outstation set.
An IEC 60870-5 Phoenix PSTN outstation set is a database item that represents a ‘logical collection’ of associated IEC 60870-5 Phoenix outstations. For example, an IEC 60870-5 Phoenix PSTN outstation set could be used to form a collection of IEC 60870-5 Phoenix outstations according to:
- Their geographical location
- Whether you want Geo SCADA Expert to be able to dial the outstations more frequently (as you can promote dial out to all of the outstations in a set).
When you have created an IEC 60870-5 Phoenix PSTN outstation set item in the database, you can configure it by using the IEC 60870-5 Phoenix PSTN Set Form.
There are no driver-specific properties on IEC 60870 Phoenix outstation sets. The fields on the tabs are common to outstation sets on many advanced drivers—see Tabs on Outstation Set Forms in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Advanced Drivers.
