Minimum Configuration

For an IEC 60870-5 Phoenix PSTN Outstation to be functional (online), you need to specify these properties (as a minimum):

• The telephone number of the site on which the outstation is located (PSTN tab)
• The Set to which the outstation belongs (Outstation tab)
• The outstation’s Common Address (IEC 60870-5 tab)
• The Master Password (Phoenix tab)
• The Outstation Password (Phoenix tab).

You also need to put the outstation In Service and save the configuration.

This will result in a functional outstation that uses the default configuration settings.
