Use the fields within the Scaling section of the Analog Point tab to specify the format of the raw data and the range of the raw input signal values for an analog point.
- Data Type—Use this combo box to select the format of the raw data. The outstation uses the format to perform the appropriate calculations when converting the signals into engineering values for use in the Geo SCADA Expert database and vice versa when sending raw data values to plant. Choose the format that relates to the analog equipment that you are using, for example, Unsigned 16 bit.
- Raw Full Scale—Use to specify the highest acceptable raw data value for the point.
- Raw Zero Scale—Use to specify the lowest acceptable raw data value for the point.
