A Promotion window allows outstations that have been promoted to be scanned at a more frequent rate (see Temporarily Increasing the Scan Rate). Define the rate at which Promoted outstations are scanned (Promoted Scan time), and the duration of a Promotion scan window (Maximum Promoted Scan time) using fields on the relevant Channel Form(s) (see Define the Permitted Scan Durations).
