System Scan Termination
A System Scan is deemed to be complete when one of the following events occur:
- The Primary Normal Phase exceeds the System Scan time and the Minimum Secondary Scan time elapses (see Minimum Secondary Scan Interval).
- The System Scan time elapses and the Secondary Normal Phase has run for longer than the Minimum Secondary Scan time, but there is still secondary data to extract.
- The available secondary data has been retrieved from the outstations, even after multiple re-visits to outstations with more data than can be accommodated in a Maximum Secondary Scan per Outstation time interval (see Maximum Secondary Promoted Time).
