Configure the Basic Source Properties
Use the fields at the top of the Source tab to define the basic Source properties:
- In Service—Use to specify whether the Source is active or inactive (see Placing an Item In Service in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Configuration).
- Channel—Use to define the channel that is to transmit data changes from, and request local controls at, this Source.
Use the browse button to display a Reference Browse window. Select the required channel from the window.
- Node ID—Use to specify the Mitsubishi node ID of this Slave. You can configure one Source per node ID per channel.
- PLC Type—Use this combo box to specify the type of MELSEC A PLC that this Source is to emulate.
The mode of addressing varies with the type of PLC that is being emulated. Choose from:
- ACPU—Supports five character addressing.
- AnACPU—Supports seven character addressing.
