Where Geo SCADA Expert retrieves data from Modbus PLCs, or third-party devices that are communicating using the Modbus protocol, the Geo SCADA Expert system acts as a Modbus Master.
For this scenario, the Simple Modbus driver has to be running on your system, and you need to configure the required number of Modbus channels, Modbus scanners, and Modbus points within Geo SCADA Expert.
