Preparation

Before you can successfully configure a Modbus Slave Source, you will need to have configured:

• The Slave channel that is being used to transmit the Modbus data (see Configuring a Modbus Slave Channel)
• The Value Maps that define where the data is located (see Using Value Maps to Represent Modbus Data Address Ranges in this guide, and see Configuring Value Maps in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Configuration).
