Points Used on Simple OPC Scanners
OPC Scanners read and write to data on OPC servers. You need to map the data on each OPC server to suitable OPC points within the Geo SCADA Expert database, to enable Geo SCADA Expert to handle the data in a similar way to other point data on the system (for instance, in order to monitor state changes, raise alarms, or execute controls).
The Simple OPC driver can support any of the point types that are listed below. You need to configure those point types that present the OPC node data in a suitable format within the Geo SCADA Expert database.
