Minimum Configuration

For an OPC XML-DA Server to be functional (online), you need to specify the following settings (as a minimum):

• The URL of the OPC XML-DA server (the node on which the OPC data is located)
• The user name and password that are required to access the data on that server.

You also need to put the server In Service and save the configuration.

This will provide a functional OPC server that uses the default configuration.
