You need to configure a SCADAPack 50 Outstation Set database item for each group of SCADAPack 50 devices with which Geo SCADA Expert communicates using a particular channel (see Add a Driver Specific Item to the Database in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Advanced Drivers). You can organize these database items within a group (see Groups in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Configuration).
You specify the properties of an outstation set by using a SCADAPack 50 Outstation Set Form (see Display a Form in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Configuration).
Each Form has several tabs. Each tab on a SCADAPack 50 Outstation Form contains a number of fields. These fields enable you to specify the Outstation Set properties (see Tabs on Outstation Set Forms in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Advanced Drivers and see Fields on Forms in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Configuration).
To create and configure an Outstation Set database item, you need to be logged on to Geo SCADA Expert with a User Account that has the Configure Database feature enabled and the relevant permissions set (see Creating a User Account in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Security).
