Pressure Compensation Properties (Liquid Flow Run)
The properties described in this topic are supported by Realflo version 6.95 onwards.
The fields within this section of the Liquid tab comprise properties that are associated with Pressure Compensation.
You can configure these properties directly in Geo SCADA Expert, or read the configuration into the Geo SCADA Expert database (see Configure or Read the Flow Run Configuration).
- Run Pressure Compensation—When selected, this check box specifies that the flow calculation performs pressure compensation.NOTICE
INACCURATE FLOW MEASUREMENT
For flexibility, there are two means of performing Pressure Compensation. Do not perform Pressure Compensation using the flow run and the Coriolis meter at the same time.Failure to follow these instructions can cause inaccurate flow measurement. - Reference Calibration Pressure—Only applicable when the Run Pressure Compensation check box is selected.
This field indicates the pressure at which the Coriolis meter flow tube was calibrated. When used, the property must have a value greater than zero.
- Flow Pressure Effect on Mass Flow—Only applicable when the Run Pressure Compensation check box is selected.
This field indicates the effect of flowing pressure on the mass flow measurement.
- Flow Pressure Effect on Density—Only applicable when the Run Pressure Compensation check box is selected.
This field indicates the effect of flowing pressure on the density measurement.
