Configure the Properties on the DNP3 Tab

The properties described in this section only need configuring if:

Geo SCADA Expert is to communicate with the SCADAPack x70 device using the DNP3 protocol

or:

Geo SCADA Expert is the configuration master, and you are configuring the SCADAPack x70 device to accept communications from another SCADA master, which itself is to communicate with the SCADAPack x70 device using the DNP3 protocol. (In which case the properties apply regardless of the communications protocol that Geo SCADA Expert uses to communicate with the SCADAPack x70 device.)

With SCADAPack x70 Analog, Digital, and Counter Configuration items, you use the DNP3 tab to configure the properties that enable the SCADAPack x70 device to:

identify the individual item of I/O
transport the point data in the relevant format.
