Minimum Configuration

For an SDI-12 Scanner to be functional (on-line), you need to:

• Specify the channel through which the scanner communicates
• Specify the scanner’s sensor ID
• The Data Length.

You also have to put the scanner In Service and save the configuration.

These are the minimum requirements and, when specified, will result in a scanner that uses the default configuration settings.
