The Configure permission defines whether the user or User Group can alter the configuration of the selected item. To configure a user or User Group, the user needs to have Configure and Security permissions for the user or User Group that is to be configured.
You can also use the Configure permission to restrict access to item-specific sensitive data (see Specify Whether Access to Sensitive Data is Restricted by Privilege in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Configuration).
