The Link Threads category provides status information about the threads that are handling the server links.
The status information for each client is categorized under these headings:
- Id—A unique number that is allocated by Geo SCADA Expert to identify the thread.
- ThreadId—A unique number that is allocated by the operating system to identify the thread.
- ThreadId (Hex)—The ThreadId number in hexadecimal format.
- Clients—Indicates the number of server clients that are serviced by the thread.
- Requests—Indicates the number of requests that are being made via the thread.
The number of threads varies according to the size of your system.
You can use the Requests information to determine how busy the system is—if the number of requests is rapidly rising, then there may be an overload on the system and your system's performance will be affected.
