Minimum Configuration for a TBox Outstation

For a TBox outstation to be capable of functioning, as a minimum you need to specify:

• The Set to which the outstation belongs (Outstation tab)
• The Address and Sub Address (TBox tab)
• If applicable, the Station Name (TBox tab)
• If applicable, the telephone number of the site on which a PSTN outstation is located (PSTN tab)
• If applicable, the Network properties for a network-connected outstation (Network tab)
• If applicable, the Shared properties for a shared outstation (Shared tab).

Also ensure that the outstation and the database items on which it depends are In Service, and have saved, valid configuration. This will produce a TBox outstation that is capable of functioning using the default configuration settings.
