Totalflow channels are able to use either one or two communications ports, depending on your system setup. Communications can be either Serial or TCP/IP. Use the fields on the <Primary Connection> tab to configure the connections type and the associated settings.
Serial Connection Type
If your channel uses serial communications, set the Connection Type to Serial.
Where a Serial connection is specified, you need to specify the properties for that connection. For further information, see Configure a Channel’s Serial Connection Properties in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Drivers.
TCP/IP Connection Type
If your channel uses an Ethernet connection, set the Connection Type to TCP/IP.
Where a TCP/IP connection is specified, you need to specify the properties for that connection. For further information, see Configure a Channel’s TCP/IP Connection Properties in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Drivers.
These settings have to match the settings in the Totalflow.
