Duration Bad (DurBad)

The duration bad algorithm looks at the quality of a bounding value of the interval to determine what the quality is at the beginning of the interval. If no bounding value exists, the quality is assumed to be bad at the start of the interval. This aggregate only considers truly Bad values. Uncertain values are not considered bad for purposes of calculating this algorithm.

The algorithm calculates a duration in seconds, the maximum value is defined by the resample interval period and the minimum is zero. In the illustration below the resample interval is 20 seconds.

Each interval’s value is returned with the timestamp of the start of the interval. Qualities are good, calculated.
