D Series radios provide support for interrogation of fewer diagnostics parameters than other supported radio series. To retrieve an item of diagnostics data from a D Series radio, you associate that data with a Trio Diagnostics Analog Point; other types of point are not used to retrieve diagnostics data from D Series radios.
Geo SCADA Expert can retrieve various forms of diagnostic data from a Trio radio. For each item of diagnostics data that can be in one of a set number of states, you need to configure a Simple Trio Diagnostics Digital Point in the Geo SCADA Expert Database.
Configure the point’s properties using the fields on the Simple Trio Diagnostics Digital Point Form. The Form has several tabs.
Use the Trio Diagnostics tab to Configure the Trio Diagnostics Digital Point Properties.
The Digital Point tab contains properties that are common to digital points on many drivers (see Defining Digital Point Details in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration).
The fields on other tabs are common to points on many drivers (see Tabs on Point Forms in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Simple Drivers).
