Define the Flow Computer Command Timeout
You can use the Geo SCADA Expert Server Configuration Tool to define the timeout period for Realflo commands.
To define the timeout for Realflo commands, you need to use the Realflo section in the Global Parameters branch of the Geo SCADA Expert Server Configuration Tool.
To set command timeout:
- Access the Geo SCADA Expert Server Configuration Tool.
- Expand the Global Parameters branch.
- Select Realflo.
- Use the Flow Computer Command Timeout field on the Realflo section to define the timeout period .
The timer is triggered whenever a Realflo command is issued using a register write.
The timer is canceled as soon as the reply registers update to indicate the completion of the command.
If the reply registers have not updated as expected by the time that the timer expires, the driver will wait for any outstanding replies to be received. Then if the reply registers have still not changed the driver will fail the request, indicating the fact that the Realflo command registers did not update as the reason.
