For a Flow Run that is Configured Directly in Geo SCADA Expert

Before you can successfully configure a Flow Run directly in Geo SCADA Expert:

• You need to have configured the Realflo controller with which the Flow Run is associated (see Configuring SCADAPack Modbus Realflo Controllers).
• You also need to ascertain the flow run’s settings.

As a minimum, for a Flow Run to be functional (online), you need to configure:

• The properties on the Flow Run tab, additionally for a Gas Flow Run:
  • The properties on the Compressibility Calculation tab
  • The properties on the Flow Calculation tab.
• The properties on the Flow Run tab, additionally for a Liquid Flow Run:
  • The properties on the Liquid tab
  • The properties on the Meter Mass Flow tab
• The properties on the Flow Run tab, additionally for a Water Flow Run:
  • The properties on the Water tab
  • The properties on the Meter Mass Flow tab

You then need to put the Flow Run In Service and save the configuration.

In order to produce a fully functional Flow Run, you will also need to use the Write Configuration pick action to write the configuration to the Realflo controller on which the Flow Run is located.
