Alarm Redirection and Suppressed Alarms
Alarm redirections do not trigger for any item for which alarms are suppressed. An alarm can be suppressed (omitted from any alarm displays) due to an alarm being raised on ‘parent’ item.
Should the parent alarm clear, any alarms that were suppressed because of that alarm become unsuppressed if they still exist. Once an alarm becomes unsuppressed, it appears on any alarm displays and ClearSCADA triggers any associated alarm redirections in the usual way.
