Configuring Calendars
If different ClearSCADA functions are to occur automatically on specific dates each year—for instance during any company shutdown periods—consider using Calendars.
You can add Calendars to the ClearSCADA database and associate those Calendars with other ClearSCADA features, such as Schedules. You can then indicate specific dates, such as Public Holidays, on the Calendar and configure the associated features to perform the functions that are to occur on those dates.
You can specify up to six different Day Types—and therefore up to six automated ‘routines’—per Calendar.
Do not confuse these ‘normal’ Calendars with Alarm Redirection Calendars that can be used to redirect alarms on a calendar basis. For information on Alarm Redirection Calendars, see the ClearSCADA Guide to Alarm Redirection.
