System Architectures
The first stage of the server configuration is to define the type of system architecture to which the server belongs. You can use the Server Configuration Tool’s Partners settings to configure the server so that it recognizes the structure of your system and can interact with any other servers. To do this, you should have an understanding of the various server architectures and server connection and monitoring features.
The following sections describe the available server architectures and explain how the servers synchronize and interact with each other.

Multi-server systems (redundancy) are only supported by full versions of ClearSCADA. You can find information about the version you have installed by running ViewX and selecting Help>About.
For information on using a ClearSCADA system with Remote Desktop applications, see ClearSCADA on Citrix and Remote Desktop Services.
