Installing ClearSCADA WebX Server

You can install the ClearSCADA WebX Server on any server computer that meets the recommended specifications. To run the Web server, you have to use 64-bit operating systems (see 64-Bit).

You can use the ClearSCADA DVD to install ClearSCADA Web Server. You will configure the basic settings that required for IIS during the installation process.

To install ClearSCADA Web Server:

  1. Run the ClearSCADA Installer and select the Install ClearSCADA Web Server option. The WebX Server Setup Wizard provides a series of ‘pages’ that guide you through the installation process.
  2. Use the various ‘pages’ of the Setup Wizard to make selections relating to the ClearSCADA Web Server installation.
  3. Set up connections, licenses, and so on (see Display the WebX System Configuration Applet in the ClearSCADA Guide to WebX System Configuration).
