Security permission required to access this pick action: Disable Points
Use the Disable Point pick action to temporarily disable a Trend item. When triggered, Geo SCADA Expert clears the Trend item’s In Service property, so that the Trend item is no longer active. While the Trend remains disabled Geo SCADA Expert ignores any trend data returned by the outstation for the disabled Trend.
To disable the Trend at the outstation in addition to Geo SCADA Expert, use the Download Configuration pick action to download the changes to the outstation with which the Trend is associated.
Use the Enable Point pick action to place the Trend item back In Service.
An entry is logged in the Event Journal whenever either pick action is used. The message indicates whether the Trend item has been enabled or disabled.
