An EcoStruxure Web Services (EWS) Scanner is a logical grouping of XML tags that the Simple EWS driver scans at the same interval.
You can attach multiple scanners to each EWS Server on your system. By specifying different scan rates and offsets, you can enable the Simple EWS driver to scan certain data at different intervals and times to other data on the same EWS Server.
Configure the scanner’s properties using the EcoStruxure Web Services Scanner Form. Use the fields on the Scanner tab to specify the scan properties (see Configure the Scanner Properties).
