To create a new Pager Service database item, you need to use the New>Pager>Pager Service options that are available from the context-sensitive menu in the Database Bar of ViewX. There are options for each type of Pager Service as well as each type of Pager Channel.
The New>Pager>Pager Service options are only available if the Pager Driver is installed and you log on to ViewX via a User account that has the Configure Database permission (in the User account configuration).
When you add a Pager Service database item, you will need to define an appropriate name (see Naming Restrictions in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Configuration). When you have entered a name for the Pager Service, you can begin to configure the item by displaying its Form (see Display the Pager Service Form).
