Each Pager Service item has a Form which contains the configurable properties, including timeouts, number of retries, and maximum message lengths. You need to use the Pager Service Form when setting up your system to communicate with pagers and mobile telephones via the Pager Driver.
To display the Pager Service Form, right-click on the Pager Service database item in the Database Bar, then select the Edit Properties option. You have to be logged on via a User account that has the Configure Database permission. (If the Pager Service item does not already exist in the database, you will need to Create a Pager Service Database Item.)
There are several other ways of displaying a Form for a database item (see Display a Form. in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Configuration).
When you have displayed the Form for your Pager Service database item, you can use it to define the properties of the service. For more information, see:
