Alarm Redirection and Suppressed Alarms
Alarm redirections do not trigger for any item for which alarms are suppressed. An alarm can be suppressed (omitted from any alarm displays) due to an alarm being raised on a ‘parent’ item, or while the value of a particular property on the 'parent' item fulfills particular criteria.
Once the parent suppression has been removed (and any Unsuppress Delay expired), any alarms that were suppressed because of that parent suppression become unsuppressed if they still exist. Once an alarm becomes unsuppressed, it appears on any alarm displays and Geo SCADA Expert triggers any associated alarm redirections in the usual way.
