Status Attributes Associated with Data Tables
Every item in the Geo SCADA Expert database has its own Status display (also referred to as a View window or View dialog). You view an item's Status display by selecting that item's View Status pick action or menu option. The Status display provides information about the status of the selected item, presenting the information in the form of 'status attributes'. For further information about working with Status displays, see Status Displays.
Use this section if you require information about the status of a Data Table.
This topic documents the status attributes that are specific to Data Tables.
These status attributes are only visible when the logged on User Account is assigned the Configure security permission for the Data Table.
The status attributes comprise:
- Record Count—This status attribute indicates the number of records that exist in the Data Table.
- Record Size—This status attribute indicates the size of each record (in bytes) that exists in the Data Table.
- Table Size—This status attribute indicates the combined size of all the records (in bytes) that exist in the Data Table.
- Deleted Record Count—This status attribute indicates the number of records that have been deleted from the Data Table.
You can remove these deleted records from the Data Table using the Purge Deleted Records pick action (see Purge Deleted Records).
- Warning—This status attribute is displayed only if the size of the Data Table exceeds 100MB, to indicate that the Data Table exceeds the recommended size.
