Alarm Limits
Associated with: Analog and Counter-type points for which alarm limits are currently tuned and/or the Multiple Alarm Limits feature is enabled.
This status attribute is only displayed for points on which:
- The Tune Limits feature is supported.
- One or more alarm limits are currently tuned (see Tune Alarm Limits).
and/or
- The Multiple Alarm Limits feature is enabled.
The attribute lists the following:
- The values to which the alarm limits are temporarily tuned.
- The name of the user that was logged onto the workstation when the tuning occurred.
- The date and time that the tuning occurred.
- The current set of alarm limits.
For example, if you set up the seasonal alarm limits, the attribute shows the season, such as 'Summer' or 'Winter'.
If the alarm limits are currently tuned:
Example:
Tuned to HH:95.00 H:80.00 L:25.00 LL:10.00 by RGrosso at 2020-05-29 10:05:32
With points on some drivers, you can associate individual limits with Time Profiles. Profile-controlled limits cannot be tuned. If any limits are tuned on a point on which other limits are profile-controlled, the Alarm Limits status attribute indicates which of those limits are profile-controlled.
Example:
Tuned to HH:95.00 H:Profile L:25.00 LL:10.00 by RGrosso at 2020-05-29 10:05:32
With points on some drivers, you can disable individual alarm limits. Disabled alarm limits cannot be tuned. If any alarm limits are tuned on a point on which other alarm limits are disabled, the Alarm Limits status attribute indicates which of those limits are disabled.
If multiple alarm limits are enabled:
If multiple alarm limits are enabled and the alarm limits are also tuned, tuning takes precedence over multiple alarm limits.
