Configure the Write Properties of an IEC 61850 Analog Point

IEC 61850 Analog Points that are created for the corresponding IEC 61850 Data Attributes will have a Write tab on the Analog Point Form. To create IEC 61850 Analog points you should use an SCL file which defines the relevant Data Attributes. You cannot create IEC 61850 Analog points with a Functional Constraint of CO. The Write tab does not have the Control Options section, as they cannot be created to represent an IEC 61850 data object where these options are used.

Use the Write tab to:

• Specify the Analog Control Range and Severity Properties (see Define the Control Settings for an Analog Output Point in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration)
• Promote Retrieval of Data Associated with Controls (see Promoting Scanning of Outstations Associated with Controls).
