MQTT Sparkplug™ B Devices List
The MQTT Sparkplug B Devices List is specific to the MQTT Sparkplug B driver - it is only available on systems on which that driver is installed. Like other Queries Lists, you can display the List from the Queries Bar. Alternatively, you can use the Display Devices pick action to display a filtered list that just includes the devices that reference a particular MQTT Sparkplug B EoN Node.
The Queries List provides a summary of the status of the MQTT Sparkplug B Device database items to which your User Account and the client provide access.
As with other Lists, the MQTT Sparkplug B Devices List consists of rows and columns. Each row represents an individual Device and each column contains status information about that particular Device database item.
The MQTT Sparkplug B Devices List contains these columns:
-
Name—The full name of the database item, including its path in the Geo SCADA Expert database.
-
State—The item's present activity status. The entry is identical to that shown by the State attribute on the item's Status display.
-
Last Updated—The time and date that the item's activity status last changed. The entry is identical to that of the Last Updated attribute on the item's Status display.
-

-
Current Request—The request that the Device is currently processing (if any).
-
Source Name—The name of the MQTT Sparkplug B EoN Node database item that represents the source of the data for the Device.
-

-
Type—The type of database item. This column displays the entry 'MQTT Sparkplug B Device'.
-
Memory Usage—The approximate amount of system memory that is occupied by the item, specified in bytes.
-
Alarm View—This column is only populated if the item or the Group with which it is associated is configured to have an Alarm View (see Define an Alarm View). When populated, you can select the entry to display that Alarm View.
As with other Lists, you can right-click on an entry in the List to display a context-sensitive menu. From this menu, you can select options to display further information about an MQTT Sparkplug B Device, or perform various actions. For information about the actions that are specific to this type of database item, see Actions that are Specific to MQTT Sparkplug™ B Device Items.
