Export the Configuration to a .RTZ File

After creating the SCADAPack x70 database items, export the configuration to a .RTZ file.

To export the configuration to a .RTZ file:

1. Select the Export to Remote Connect pick action on the SCADAPack x70 Device Configuration item in the Database Bar.
   The Export to RemoteConnect dialog box is displayed.
2. Select the browse button next to the File Name field.
   A File Name window is displayed. Its layout varies, depending on the operating system that you are running.
3. Use the window to:
   1. Define the location to which you want Geo SCADA Expert to export the configuration.
   2. Specify a suitable name for the file into which Geo SCADA Expert is to place the configuration, ready for export to RemoteConnect. The file takes the form of a SCADAPack Import configuration file (.RTZ file).
   3. Select the Save button to confirm the details and close the File Name window.
4. Select the OK button for Geo SCADA Expert to create the file and place it at the specified location.
   Geo SCADA Expert exports the configuration to the specified file, at the specified location. The file is now ready to be imported into RemoteConnect.

Once you have exported the configuration to the .RTZ file, you can proceed to Import the Configuration to RemoteConnect.
