Modify your Virtual ViewX Server Installation
To run Virtual ViewX, the Virtual ViewX server software should be installed on server class hardware that is running one of the supported 64-bit operating systems (see 64-Bit). On such computers, the web server for Virtual ViewX is hosted using IIS.
Initial IIS setup is performed automatically as part of the Virtual ViewX Server installation procedure (see Virtual ViewX Server Setup Wizard).
IIS Manager is a tool produced by Microsoft® to manage Internet Information Services. If you need to modify your Virtual ViewX server installation, for example, to change the HTTP or SSL ports that were specified during the installation process, or to install an SSL certificate for use by the Virtual ViewX server, use the IIS Manager to do so. You can also use the IIS Manager to access information about the connection status of Virtual ViewX.
To access the IIS Manager application, in the Search box next to the Start menu in Windows®, enter the text IIS and select the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager app.
Refer to Microsoft® documentation for information about using IIS manager.
If the Virtual ViewX server software is installed on desktop class hardware, running Windows 10 or Windows 11, IIS is not used; instead, the web service is hosted directly.
