Add a Forecast

To add a Forecast to the ClearSCADA database:

  1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar).
  2. In the Database Bar, right-click on the System or Group for which you want to add a new Forecast.
    A context sensitive menu is displayed.
  3. Select the Create New option.
    A further menu is displayed.
  4. Select the Other option.
    A further menu is displayed.
  5. Select the Forecast option.
    A Forecast is added to the root of the System or to the selected Group (depending on your selection in step 2). It is selected automatically, ready for you to enter its name.
  6. Enter a suitable name for the item (taking into account the ClearSCADA Naming Restrictions).
  7. Press the Enter key or select another part of the ViewX interface to confirm the entry.

Once you have added a Forecast, you need to Configure the Forecast Properties.
