Sofrel Call Recipients

Sofrel S500 series outstations that are configured to use the LACBUS-RTU protocol can be configured to use a list of Call Recipients. The list is used by the outstation to initiate communications with one or more of the recipients configured.

There are several defined types of call recipients supported by Sofrel outstations:

• Master—there are two master recipients:
  • PSTN/GSM Data Master Stations, which contains a telephone number.
  • Ethernet/GSM IP Master Station, which contains an IP address.
• RTU—there are several types of RTU recipient which contains either a telephone number or an IP address.
• Email—this type contains an email address.
• Voice—this type contains a telephone number.
• Telephone—this type contains a telephone number.
• Script—this type contains a script containing a telephone number.

These recipient types are identified in the outstation, the type is not uploaded to ClearSCADA.

ClearSCADA recipient type restrictions

The following restrictions apply to how ClearSCADA manages recipient types:

• The recipient type is not visible in ClearSCADA.
• Master and RTU recipient types and their parameters can not be uploaded from the outstation.
• You can edit and download Master and RTU recipients parameters.
