Download Configuration

The Download Configuration option varies on some drivers - the driver-specific documentation explains any differences that apply to a particular driver.

UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOR OF APPLICATION

Do not make further configuration changes to an outstation or any of its dependants while a download is in progress to that outstation. Performing such changes may result in partially updated or corrupt configuration being downloaded to the outstation, or configuration changes not being flagged for download

Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury, or equipment damage.

Use this pick action to download the configuration that is associated with an outstation, from the ClearSCADA database to that outstation (see Downloading Configuration Changes in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Configuration).

The Download Config Alarm status attribute indicates the success, or otherwise, of the last Download Configuration request to the outstation.

The Download Configuration Required system color indicates when configuration changes have been made in ClearSCADA, which have not yet been downloaded to the relevant outstation.
