Previous Update State

Associated with: Points

This status attribute displays a point’s state at the time that it was Previously Updated in ClearSCADA (as opposed to its Current State).

The Previous Update State might be the same as the point’s Current State if, for example, the last update was due to the point’s value changing significantly, but that change did not result in the point crossing a state boundary. A Refresh action might also result in the Previous Update State being identical to the Current State.

Use the attribute in conjunction with other status attributes, such as Previous Update Quality to assess the reliability of the data.

Also see Previous Update Value.

Use the Previous State attribute to determine the last state the point was in before the state changed to its Current State.
