ACOS

The ACOS function is a mathematical function that returns the inverse Cosine (radians) of a number. The ACOS function returns a real value.

Returns the inverse Cosine (radians) of a number.

Arguments

ACOS(INTEGER or REAL)

The ACOS function can have one input and this can be either an integer or a real floating value—see Number (Integer or Real).

Returns

REAL

The inverse Cosine (radians) value of the input.

Example:

ACOS( -1 )

The output is PI (3.1415926...)
