Mimic Scripts

The ClearSCADA scripting feature for Mimics is designed to provide a more flexible medium for creating user interfaces such as animated Mimic displays. By using the Mimic scripting feature, you can create scripts that provide useful functionality that is specifically tailored to your requirements.

To create a Mimic script, you first need to enable the scripting feature for your Mimic as the feature is disabled by default (see Enable the Scripting Feature on a Mimic). Once the scripting feature is enabled, you can access the Script Editor and use it to create a suitable script. To create a script, you will need to have an in-depth understanding of the VBScript language.
